엔드오브타임(책) 엔드오브타임_브라이언 그린 지음 / 박병철 옮김 / 와이즈베리 / 06/23/2021 (완독) 솔직히 말해서 책이 어렵다. 나의 이해력이 부족해서 그럴지도 모르고 옮기시는 분이 너무 어렵게 해석을 해놨을지도 모르겠다. 지은이는 우주의 탄생부터 우리의 삶에 대해서 이야기를 하고 있는데 그의 사물에 대한 이해와 분석 해석이 너무 이과적이라 솔직히 자연과학의 기초지식이 약한 나에게 처음부터 좀 어려웠다. 결국엔 마지막 장에 가서야 자연과학을 넘어서는 이야기를 할 때 더 이해가 잘 되는게 신기하기도 했다. 존재를 물질적으로 증명하는 것에 최선을 다하는 느낌이었지만 존재의 의미를 찾는 부문에 이르렀을 때는 결국 사상 철학의 도움이 필요하다는 것도 느꼈다. 과학으로 증명되지 않는 것도 많으니까. 오늘의 영어공부(06/24/2021) *GMP generate income 수익이 발생하다. 이익을 일으키다 1) The city generates income. 2) Trade generates income. 3) It generates massive income for our city. 2달안에 준비가 될 겁니다.
